Tourego (Tourist Refund on the Go) is the world’s first mobile tourist tax refund solution, the only Singaporean tax refund company and approved by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. It is launching in Singapore as its first market. The app is free to download for iOS and Android devices and available to non-Singaporeans tourists for tax refund to register for an account. No need for paper-based tax refunds. Instead, you can receive and store your refund tickets in an e-wallet.
The app also provides tourists with the latest shopping, food and travel tips about Singapore. Use the shopping list function that recommends Tourego retailers as you put together a wish list. The Tourego retail network is expected to increase from 100 partners in the coming months.
You even get suggestions for souvenir shopping. Get bak kwa (Barbequed meat) from Bee Cheng Hiang, Kaya from Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Arabic perfume oils from Jamal Kazura Aromatics, Tiger Balm from Major Pharmacies including Watsons, 1872 Clipper Tea from ION Orchard.
