Small Luxury Hotels of the World, a group of independently spirited hotels around the world, has added The Outpost Hotel in Sentosa into its portfolio of over 500 hotels in over 80 countries. In Singapore, there are two other hotels under the SLH group – The Scarlet Singapore at Erskine Road and Naumi Hotel at Seah Street.

The Outpost Hotel is scheduled to open in April 2019 with rates starting from S$330++ a night.

The Outpost Hotel occupies a conserved heritage area on Sentosa Island in Singapore. The Far East Hospitality property shares the same premises with its sister hotel Village Hotel at Sentosa.

Rooms here feature a black and white palette complemented by hints of gold and metallic. Amenities include toiletry kits by APPELES Apothecary and Lab, pillow mist kits for turndown service, water flitration system, and a customised mini bar with compliments from the hotel.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar concept on the hotel’s rooftop will be unveiled in the second half of 2019. Guests have access to a private pool on the rooftop or an infinity edge Pamukkale Pool which is inspired by the limestone thermal pools in Pamukkale, Turkey.

We have stayed in a couple of SLH’s fine properties around the world including Naumi and Scarlet in Singapore. You can read about our experience at Ariana Sustainable Luxury Lodge in Cappadocia, or the Tom Tom Suites and Les Ottomans in Istanbul. In Helsinki, I got to experience Hotel Lilla Roberts and Hotel Haven. I am looking forward to staying at the sixteen-suites Hotel TwentySeven in Amsterdam, which turns one in May.
