GuocoLand‘s Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia has opened its doors this month. It is the first of two Sofitel’s the property developer is opening. The second is Sofitel Singapore City Centre which is expected to open in September after experiencing multiple delays from Q4 2016 to May 2017. To celebrate its opening, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is offering a weekend getaway at RM398.35 nett with breakfast for two till 1 December 2017.
The 312-room Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is the brand’s first hotel in Malaysia. It is located in Damansara Heights between Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya with close proximity to Kuala Lumpur Sentral. You can walk to the Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT station. It is part of an 8.5 acre integrated development by GuoccoLand that includes two luxury condominium blocks, two corporate office towers, the hotel and a lifestyle mall. The rooms are spacious, ranging from 43 to 105 sqm. Rooms feature MyBed, wifi and a selection of premium in-room amenities by Lanvin and Hermès. There are five restaurants and bars at the hotel including Kwee Zeen, a Pan-Asian cuisine restaurant; Chinese restaurant Wan Chun Ting; Le Bar; French Riviera-inspired restaurant Nizza and a Nespresso Lounge and TWG fine teas. And if you are headed over to Kuala Lumpur for meetings or events, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur has six meeting rooms including a pillar-less 1,100 sqm Wau Bulan Ballroom that can accommodate up to 800 guests.
