Pan Pacific London 42-storey Flagship Opens With 237 Rooms

Pan Pacific Hotels Group has opened Pan Pacific London, its flagship hotel in the heart of the city at One Bishopsgate Plaza. The luxury hotel is steps away from Liverpool Street Station as well as high-end shopping in Spitalfields, the Barbican cultural hub, and the stylish Shoreditch neighbourhood.

Bishopsgate Plaza houses the 43-storey One Bishopsgate Plaza, private Sky Residence apartments, and the historical 144-year old Devonshire House.

The Names Behind Pan Pacific London

Award-winning firm PLP Architectures designed the hotel. Design duo Yabu Pushelberg headquartered in Toronto and New York designed the hotel interiors. SilverLeaf at The Devonshire House, its destination bar, is helmed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio.

The hotel features 1,083 sqm of holistic wellness with an 18.5 m indoor infinity pool and Living Room, a wellness lounge for early arrivals and guests waiting to catch their flight. Interact in a social space for lively gatherings and conversation at the Market Kitchen. The hotel has been awarded the “5 Star Winner for Best Hotel Construction and Design UK”, “Best Hotel Architecture London” and “Best Mixed-Use Architecture London” at the International Property Awards (UK) for its visionary architecture.

Guest Rooms of Pan Pacific London feature a light colour palette with no sharp 90-degree angles, adding to the tranquil and peaceful experience. Custom headboards act as personalised art pieces, adding a layer of calm through the depiction of oak, elder, elm and maple trees. The rooms are sized from 37sqm to 119 sqm. Be pampered with the luxuries of Diptyque amenities, custom Hypnos beds, Dyson hairdryers, Hans Grohe bath and tap systems, and in-room curated coffee selections, among other features.

The Food & Beverage Programme at Pan Pacific London

The hotel’s food and beverage offerings are led by multi-award-winning Executive Chef Lorraine Sinclair and renowned Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden. Straits Kitchen celebrates Southeast Asian cuisine, Executive Chef Lorraine Sinclair crafted the menu alongside Singaporean Group Executive Chef Tony Khoo with dishes such as Wok-Fried Chilli Mud Crab, Har Cheong Kai, and Native LoBster Nonya Laksa.

Enjoy Afternoon Tea from Singapore’s pride at the Orchid Lounge. Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden brings her touch of Asian flavours to the traditional British tea with the Singapore-inspired Kopi Tiam. Bite into bao, dim sum and choux. Chef also helms the affectionately named patisserie, SHIOK! which offers a grab-and-go option.

Ginger Lily features an extensive Champagne list from over 200 houses, over 150 rums, and signatures inspired by Singaporean flavours and culture.

The destination bar, SilverLeaf at The Devonshire House brings refreshing offerings to guests in the historic 144-year icon.

British producers Nurtured in Norfolk grow high-quality Asian ingredients and source local produce for the hotel to minimise carbon footprint while bringing authentic and local flavours to the table.
