Marriott International launches a new Club Marriott programme combining Club Marriott, Eat Drink & More and Star Privilege, three dining loyalty programmes in Asia-Pacific into one single paid membership programme. Check out the previous Club Marriott programme we got from Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza last year.
Members enjoy more choices and benefits when dining out in their hometown or at one of the 200 participating hotels across 15 brands in 13 countries across the region. More hotels will be joining the programme monthly.
Besides food and beverage benefits including the 20% discount on F&B, the Club Marriott membership recognises guests with exclusive events and experiences. Members continue to enjoy discounts off best available room rates at participating hotels in Asia Pacific. Other benefits come in the form complimentary stays, upgrades and spa, fitness and wellness vouchers. Members get recognised on special occasions including catering discounts for important dates and invitations to exclusive member events. Club members’ children will also be treated to parties and surprises.
The Pacific region is the first to launch this special membership programme in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia and Samoa, currently involving 25 hotels. Members will be able to save with two additional dining certificates for group dining or use their personal dining credits in a number of exceptional restaurants, receive welcome amenities, room discounts, upgrades, and spa vouchers at participating hotels, and enjoy birthday offers as well as access to exclusive member events. Membership is also recognised beyond the Pacific with F&B and room discounts in participating hotels in Asia.
The new combined Club Marriott programme will be rolled out starting in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Guam, Indonesia, India, Japan, and Korea throughout July, August and September. This is followed by the Philippines in November, and Thailand by December this year.
“With over 200,000 members today and growing, the new Club Marriott combined program has evolved as the preferred Hotel Dining Loyalty Program,” adds Bart Buiring, Chief Operations Services Officer, Marriott International, Asia Pacific. “By offering locally relevant benefits to members, we aim to continue having a sharp focus on positioning our hotels as ‘the favourite destinations where locals go to meet, eat and drink.’”
