Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is opening eight new properties across Asia, the Caribbean and Europe in 2018.

Guests can look forward to idyllic resort getaways in Banyan Tree Anji (May 2018)  and Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay (January 2018) in China, soak in historic culture amidst nature at Dhawa Jinshanling (May 2018) in China, bask beneath sunlit clouds at Angsana Corfu, Greece (April 2018) – the Group’s first resort in Europe or Angsana Cayo Santa Maria (August 2018) in Cuba, have a wellness stay experience in Angsana Xishuangbanna (March 2018) in China or go on an urban adventure at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur (June 2018) and Pavilion Hotel by Banyan Tree (August 2018) in Malaysia, the first two of the Group’s openings in Malaysia.

Anji is famous for its bamboo forests and white tea. The popular summer destination in eastern China is located in the prefecture-level city of Huzhou in Zhejiang Province offering eco-tourism with abundant mineral resources. The exclusive mountain resort features 151 rooms, suites and villas offering scenic mountain views. Scheduled to open May 2018.

The sky-suspended retreat at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur is set in the heart of the city’s Golden Triangle. This will be the first Banyan Tree hotel in Kuala Lumpur. This hotel only has 55 rooms and suites. Enjoy the 360-degree view of the city skyline from Vertigo rooftop bar. Scheduled to open June 2018.

This new property will be located above the six-storey Pavilion Kuala Lumpur featuring 325 rooms and suites. Pavilion Hotel by Banyan Tree is walking distance to the business, shopping and entertainment district. Scheduled to open August 2018.

This property is the Group’s first resort in Europe. The 199 rooms, suites and bungalows overlook the sea. The property will also have the island’s largest spa with 16 treatment rooms including four rooftop spa pavilions and the largest outdoor infinity pool. Scheduled to open April 2018.
