Singapore Airlines and Grab have integrated their mobile apps in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. Singapore Airlines customers can book Grab rides through their SingaporeAir mobile app. There will be an option in the app to book a Grab ride to the airport seven days in advance. When you select the option, you will be directed to your Grab app where you can choose to order a Grab ride to the airport on demand or in advance. The airport will automatically be listed as the destination. You just need to fill in your pick-up point and desired time.
The first 5,000 customers will receive GrabPay Credits worth S$10 in their Grab account for bookings made through the SingaporeAir mobile app for Grab Rides in Singapore. Members of the loyalty programmes of SIA and Grab will enjoy additional perks. GrabRewards members can convert their points to KrisFlyer miles.
For a limited time, from 13 October 2017 to 31 October 2017, 11,000 Points gets you 2,000 KrisFlyer miles. It is limited to 10,000,000 rewards per customer. With sufficient Points, you can link your KrisFlyer account to your Grab account.
There is also a contest offering a pair of Business Class tickets to Hong Kong if you enter the promo code ‘GRABSQ’ for every Grab ride you take between 9 October to 9 November 2017. The customer with the most Grab rides booked during this period will win.
