Singapore Airlines Launches New Inflight Safety Video Featuring Singapore Attractions

Singapore Airlines unveils its latest in-flight safety video. The national carrier has collaborated with Singapore Tourism Board to feature various locations in Singapore. A refreshing move by Singapore Airlines. It is common that airlines and collaborating with national tourism organisations to promote destinations in their home country.  Qantas and Air New Zealand have launched in-flight safety videos promoting different landmarks introducing new places of interest to travellers.

The iconic Singapore Girl brings audiences to landmarks such as Boat Quay, The Intan Peranakan Home Museum, River Safari, Haji Lane, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Henderson Waves, Capitol Theatre and Gardens by the Bay in the new safety video while highlighting the safety instructions.

Both Singapore Airlines and Singapore Tourism Board are jointly promoting inbound travel to and through Singapore through a bilateral agreement signed in June this year. Both parties will jointly invest S$10 million combined over three years to collaborate on marketing activities, events and technology initiatives which will facilitate ease of travel as well as enhance the delivery of the right experiences to the right people at the right time and place.

This new in-flight safety video will be screened on SIA flights from the end of the year.  We love the video, albeit a bit too slow for us, but then again, we have all the time when we are flying. Also check out our review of SIA’s 70th Anniversary amenity kits and their luxurious First Class amenity kits.
