Oman Air Welcomes New Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to Its Fleet

Oman Air has received its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on 22 April 2017 joining its fleet as part of the airline’s expansion plan in 2017. This is in addition to the new 737-800s and 787-9 which were added to its fleet this year. To date, the fleet of 52 includes six B787-9 Dreamliners, six A330-300s, four A330-200s, five B737-900s, 26 B737-800s, one B737-700 and four Embraer 175s.

Oman Air’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft is configured with 30 flat bed Business Class suites designed by BE Aerospace and 258 Economy Class seats. All classes feature the Thales Integrated In-Flight Entertainment System. This sixth B787-Dreamliner will be deployed on Oman Air’s European and Far-Eastern sectors.
