Etihad Airways launches its latest bedding programme for First Class and The Residence, the most luxurious three-room commercial airline cabin in the world. Etihad Airways has partnered WESSCO International airline amenities supplier to fit its aircraft with Swedish luxury bedding brand DUXIANA.

The inspiration for this bedding programme comes from the architecture and colours in and around Abu Dhabi.

Etihad has equipped The Residence in all its 10 A380 aircraft with some 20+ DUXIANA branded items including the pillows and pillow covers, duvets, bathrobes, towels and floor mats.

In First Class as well as the Apartments on Etihad’s fleet of A380s and 17 of its main fleet aircrafts, the seat cushions are DUXIANA branded. The rest of the fleet will continue to offer the all-natural COCO-MAT multi-layered sleep system mattress that was launched in 2014 as part of a programme to improve sleep quality.

The Swedish label can also be found in luxury hotels around the world such as the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the Jumeirah Emirates Towers and The Langham New York.

WESSCO International also supplies American Airlines with Casper sleep products for the airline’s First and Business class since late 2017. Casper products include its signature inspired duvet, innovative lumbar pillow, pyjamas, mattress pad, day blanket, pillow and slippers.
