Etihad Airways Covers Medical and Quarantine Expenses of Passengers Diagnosed with COVID-19 During their Trip

Etihad Airways is introducing COVID-19 global wellness insurance cover as part of Etihad Wellness, its new health and hygiene programme.

Etihad Airways has partnered AXA to cover medical expenses or quarantine costs of Etihad Airways passengers diagnosed with COVID-19 during their trip. The insurance is valid worldwide for 31 days from the first day of travel. It covers up to EUR150k of medical costs and up to EUR100 a day of quarantine costs in case of a positive diagnoses for 14 days.

All Etihad tickets regardless of when they were booked, travelling between now and 31 December 2020 will include this COVID-19 insurance. Guests with existing booking are automatically enrolled into the programme.
