LOTTE DUTY FREE Singapore celebrated the grand reopening of its Terminal 3 Departure Central Duplex Store at Changi Airport on 19 January 2024. “King The Land” actor Lee Jun-Ho was present to grace the grand opening as the ambassador for Lotte Duty Free.
The duplex in the heart of Terminal 3’s transit area features cutting-edge elements and exclusive travel retail offerings. Visit shop-in-shop concepts, get wine recommendations with an Interactive Wine Sommelier and enjoy cocktails made by Toni, the Makr Shakr robotic bartender. Level 1 Shop-in-Shop Boutique
Primed at the front of the store is the Hennesey Shop-In-Shop. The world’s first The House of Suntory shop-in-shop boutique takes inspiration from Suntory’s embodiment of Japanese art and culture, featuring a selection of premium spirits, including the limited-edition centennial release of Hibiki 21 years-old and region’s first Toki Whisky launch. Penfolds and Pernod Ricard Shop-in-Shops also feature a retail collection.
Level 2 Get a Cocktail shaken by TONI the Robot Bartender, Recharge electronic devices and get wine recommendations
Visit the Lifestyle Lounge on the upper level of the Lotte Duty Free store, where you can get recommendations at the interactive wine sommelier, recharge your electronic devices, and chill while savouring cocktails mixed by Toni, the Makr Shakr robotic bartender.
Toni is designed by Italian company Makr Shakr, and can make up to 250 drinks in an hour using a liquor dispensing system called “magic bottles”. Toni also does other jobs as a real bartender. It cuts lemon and lime, dispenses mint and crushes ice. Order your drink from the Lotte mobile app the next time you visit. We previously experienced the Bionic Bar onboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ovation of the Seas in 2017. They can also be found in hotels, bars and some clubs around the world.
The Interactive Wine Sommelier uses state-of-the-art transparent LED touch screens, transforming the wine selection process catering to each traveller’s taste. The sommelier makes recommendations based on your food and dietary preferences, allowing the selection of the perfect bottle to suit any palate.
