Thai AirAsia Bangkok – Kuala Lumpur Route from Suvarnabhumi Airport

AirAsia Thailand (FD) has launched its first international flight from Suvarnabhumi Airport on 20 June 2022, becoming the only low-fare airline to fly direct from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Malaysia. AirAsia Thailand operates up to two flights daily for this route.

The airline offers two choices for return flights between Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. In addition to Suvarnabhumi – Kuala Lumpur services by Thai AirAsia, Don Mueang – Kuala Lumpur is available daily and is served by AirAsia Berhad (AK).

“Suvarnabhumi Airport is an excellent hub both for passengers and the airline. AirAsia currently operates three routes from the airport, flying to Chiang Mai, Phuket and Krabi. Starting in June, AirAsia is, for the first time, flying internationally from the base with Suvarnabhumi – Kuala Lumpur, taking passengers to the Malaysian capital, which is an important economic hub that offers both business and leisure” shares Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, CEO of AirAsia Thailand.

He adds that adding international routes from Suvarnabhumi Airport provides greater choice and convenience to guests and is part of the airline’s strategy for discovering new opportunities now that tourism is reviving. Travellers will be able to connect domestically in Thailand with AirAsia’s flights to Phuket, Chiang Mai and Krabi, so Malaysian and other international arrivals will be well served.

The airline plans to introduce more international routes from Suvarnabhumi. Travellers will be able to connect domestically in Thailand with AirAsia’s flights to Phuket, Chiang Mai and Krabi, so Malaysian and other international arrivals will be well served.
