AirAsia is launching four times weekly direct flights from Singapore to Ipoh from 2 December 2018. This is the low-cost carrier’s 16th route from Singapore. The flight between the two cities takes 1 hour 30 minutes.

AK1310 departs Singapore at 11.40 am and arrives in Ipoh at 1 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sundays. AK1311 departs Ipoh at 9.45am and lands in Singapore at 11 am.

A special promotional one-way all-inclusive fare from S$48 for AirAsia BIG members can be accessed at airasia.com or its mobile app from now till 10 November 2018 for travel between 2 December 2018 to 30 March 2019.

We stopped by Ipoh for some food in 2017 before heading to Penang. Penang is a 2-hour drive from Ipoh. AirAsia also operates four times daily flights between Penang and Singapore.  Why not fly into Ipoh for a few days and then spend a couple of days in Penang and fly back to Singapore from Penang.

AirAsia joins Scoot and Firefly to serve this route. Firefly operates daily flights with FY3152 departing Singapore at 9.40am and FY3154 departing Singapore at 2.30pm.
