Katy Perry will perform at the christening ceremony of Norwegian Cruise Line‘s latest ship, Norwegian Prima in Reykjavik, Iceland on 27 August 2022. The world-famous pop icon and ‘American Idol’ judge Katy Perry will serve as the godmother to this new ship debuting August 2022. She is currently performing her Las Vegas residency, PLAY.
Perry will fulfil the longstanding maritime tradition of blessing and officially naming Norwegian Prima, the first of six vessels in the Prima Class.
