Chef Eric Teo, a well known Mediacorp Celebrity Chef, has over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry in Singapore. He was awarded the World Gourmet Summit Executive Chef for multiple years in 2006, 2008 and 2009. Satay offered in First Class

Jet Airways has been offering Singaporean cuisine in-flight such as Satay in First Class. The satay and peanut sauce is comparable to those served on board Singapore Airlines or Malaysia Airlines. Strands of lemon grass fibre can also be spotted within the peanut sauce giving it that additional flavour.

The chicken rice served on board is equally authentic as dining at any of the local Chicken rice stores found throughout Singapore. SATS Inflight Catering Services uses an award-winning Cambodian Jasmine rice that goes well with the seasonings used in the chicken rice. The chicken is soft and tender including the breast parts. And oh that chilli sauce. Keeps you asking for more. The Singapore Prawn Laksa is served in a thick coconut broth topped with fish cake, bean curd pockets, prawns and hard boiled egg topped with a not too spicy chilli paste.

Jet Airways First Class and Premiere In-flight Tea Service

Jet Airways prides itself on its Sky Chai service where you can end off your meal with an amazing Masala Chai tea leaves brewing in individual pots in First Class or a selection of Tea Culture of the World tea bags in Premiere. There are some exotic tea blends such as Kashmiri Kahwa which is a blend of green tea and spices from Kashmir, a full bodied black Assam back tea with a strong malty flavour or a strong earthy blend of handpicked Masala spices and tea leaves. These are served only in First and Premiere class on board Jet Airways’ Airbus 300 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
