Asia Miles members can soon earn and redeem miles on selected Shenzhen Airlines flights from 11 July 2017. Eligible flights include domestic sectors within Mainland China and sectors between Mainland China and the Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

This arrangement is announced in after Cathay Dragon expands its codeshare agreement with Shenzhen Airlines today. Cathay Dragon will ad its KA code to Shenzhen Airlines’ flights between Hong Kong and Yantai, Jinan and Harbin while Shenzhen Airlines will add its ZH code to Cathay Dragon services between Hong Kong and Nanjin and Xi’an. Tickets for the new codeshare services are now available for sale for travel commencing 11 July 2017. With this arrangement, Cathay Dragon’s network in Mainland China will increase to 27 destinations.
The addition of Shenzhen Airlines to the Asia Miles, the travel and lifestyle rewards programme which was launched in February 1999 with over nine million members today, has twenty nine airline partners.
Members of the oneworld alliance are part of the programme including AirBerlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LATAM, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, S7 Airlines and SriLankan Airlines. Other partner airlines include Aer Lingus, Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, Austrian, Bangkok Airways, Cathay Dragon, Gulf Air, Jet Airways, LAN, Lufthansa, Royal Brunei Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines and TAM.
