ONYX Hospitality will add two more Shama Serviced Apartments in prime locations in Bangkok, Thailand. Sharma Sukhumvit 39 Bangkok and Shama Yen Akat Bangkok are scheduled to open this year in February and September respectively.
Shama Sukhumvit 39 Bangkok in Phrom Phong will open as an extended stay residence with 52 apartments in five one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Facilities at this apartment will include a pool and terrace, gym and kid’s playroom. Located in the heart of Bangkok’s largest Japanese neighbourhood, the serviced apartment is walking distance to the EM District of Emporium and Emquartier shopping malls, Samitivej Hospital, international schools and Soi Thonglor.
Shama Yen Akat Bangkok will offer short- and extended-stay guests to its 136 units offering facilities including a restaurant, gym and a rooftop pool terrace with barbeque pit. Located in the prime residential enclave of lower Sathorn, Yen Akat offers diverse dining options from street food and cafes to trendy cocktail lounges and award-winning restaurants. The Market Place Nanglinchee community mall is located next to the serviced apartment. Central Rama 3 shopping complex is a short walk away.
Shama has a portfolio of 11 properties in China, Hong Kong and Thailand. Other Shama openings are expected in Johor in Malaysia and additional locations in mainland China. Shama’s existing serviced apartments in Bangkok are Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok in Ploenchit and Shama Lakeview Asoke Bangkok.
