Pullman Hotels & Resorts is committed to the wellbeing of guests staying at their hotels around the world. It has collaborated with Wellness Coach Sarah Hoey to develop a programme based on four pillars of wellness – Sleep, Food, Sport and Spa.
Each of the four pillars provides options for customisation along four key fundamentals of age defense, energy boost, balance and detox.
Pullman Hotels & Resorts collaboration with Sarah Hoey started in 2004 at Pullman Marrakech Palmeraie Resort & Spa where she was hosting an event. Her understanding of the needs of the global nomad, sharing of the Pullman brand values and her holistic approach to wellbeing made it a good match for collaboration.

FOOD
Sarah Hoey has created an Active Breakfast with options encompassing the four fundamentals of age defense, energy boost, balance and detox. A variety of food caters to individual requirements and tastes, including dairy, sugar and gluten-free selections.
SPA
Body and facial treatments are available throughout the day. Enjoy a dawn treatment to wake up gently. Feel invigorated with a daytime treatment and slow down with an evening treatment. Each treatment may be customised for age defense, energy boost, balance and detox.
SPORT
Seven-minute videos are available on Youtube for guests to follow in guestrooms. These videos feature Sarah’s yoga and fitness routines. Guests can also join in a group fitness class. A fitness bag and local jogging map are also provided. Jogging and cycling trails have become popular and I have seen some many hotels offering this. I have come across this at Fairmont Jakarta where a map, towels and bottled water are provided to guests. Running is also a Westin initiative where guests can pick up a trail map and go for a run from the hotel and New Balance shoes are also available to guests at a fee. The ibis Singapore on Bencoolen offers bicycles to guests who wish to cycle and explore the neighbourhood.
SLEEP
A short guide to gentle stretching and exercise is provided to guests. Enjoy a morning routine that enables the body and muscles to wake up or an evening routine to relieve tension accumulated during the course of the day.
Pullman São Paulo Vila Olímpia, Pullman São Paulo Ibirapuera and Pullman São Paulo Guarulhos Airport will be hosting Sarah Hoey for team training for the Pullman Wellbeing experience. Following the launch in São Paulo, Sarah will continue to help rollout the program in Sardinia, Dakar, Marrakech and Mazagan, followed by San Francisco, Paris, Bangkok, Phuket and Auckland.
The programme will continue to expand around the world with the goal of one hotel per region and then one per country. At a later stage, Sarah will lead masterclasses at participating hotels across the network.
