Frasers Hospitality Celebrates 27 Years with New Openings in China, Japan, and Malaysia

Frasers Hospitality celebrates its 27th anniversary in 2025 with a rollout of six new properties across Asia. This move reinforces the brand’s steady growth in the extended-stay market and signals a strong push into key gateway cities.

The new openings include three properties in Mainland China, two in Malaysia, and one in Japan. These are all scheduled to open between late 2025 and early 2026. The aim? To bring flexible living, modern amenities and the comfort of home to more business and leisure travellers.

In China, look out for Modena by Fraser properties in Dalian, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. These offer everything from pickleball courts and pilates rooms to in-built kitchenettes and lounge areas. Each residence is designed with the modern urban traveller in mind — long-term guests, tech-savvy professionals, and families looking for space to breathe.

Over in Malaysia, Capri by Fraser in Penang and Fraser Residence in Putrajaya are primed for very different travellers — one near the vibrant heritage hub of George Town, the other set in the digital heart of Cyberjaya. Both will feature co-living spaces, full facilities, and a strong emphasis on mixing work and play.

Fraser Place Roppongi Tokyo, set to open in early 2026, will be the brand’s second property in Japan. It’s located in the buzzing Roppongi district, just a stone’s throw from embassies, cultural institutions, and business hubs. With metro lines just minutes away, the new residence promises easy access and upscale living in the city that never slows down.

This latest expansion underscores Frasers Hospitality’s confidence in Asia’s growth markets. With over 100 properties globally and nearly three decades of expertise, the brand continues to carve its niche in the premium extended-stay segment. And as travel habits evolve, Fraser’s commitment remains the same — making every stay feel like home, wherever you are.
