DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside has opened on 4 October 2021 with 290 rooms. The DoubleTree by Hilton branded property is owned by Indaman Putrajaya Sdn Bhd and managed by Hilton. This was previously the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside. The DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside joins other DoubleTree branded properties in Malaysia including Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Melaka and Penang. Another one is expected to open 1 March 2023 in Damai Laut Resort.
The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur city centre, via the new KL-Putrajaya Expressway. The Millenium Monument, pink Putra Mosque and other scenic spots surround the DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside.
There are 10 non-smoking room categories. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with HD channels, 24-hour room service, and a work desk. Hilton Honors members enjoy free Wi-Fi. Children can enjoy themselves in the Splash Pool while the adults dip in the Lakeside Pool. Or work out in the fully-equipped fitness centre.
Have your fill at one of the two restaurants. Makan Kitchen offers authentic Malaysian fare and specialty dishes across Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, and Peranakan cuisines. KOFFEE is a deli located in the hotel lobby. Rest and relax here during the day and indulge in a wide selection of coffee and colour display of pastries and light bites.
DoubleTree Putrajaya Lakeside offers 22 meeting rooms that are outfitted with Wi-Fi and wired internet, video and teleconferencing facilities, digital sound system, and a dedicated Event Manager to provide technical support. Wedding receptions can be held in an indoor or outdoor setting. A pillarless Grand Ballroom is designed to fit up to 400 guests. The Ballroom can be partitioned into two smaller rooms for more intimate ceremonies. The Temenggor meeting room offers an amazing view of the southern end of Putrajaya lake.
