Travelodge enters Singapore with its first property replacing the current Bay Hotel that is located near the entrance to Sentosa and within walking distance to VivoCity mall and MRT station. The name will be changed to Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore.
The 319-room hotel will be refurbished in phases over the next six months to reflect the Travelodge brand identity and hallmarks.
Travelodge Hotels Asia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SGX-listed ICP Ltd has opened a hotel every two months on average over the last two years. The first Travelodge hotel in Asia opened in Hong Kong in 2017. More properties were opened in Bangkok, Batam, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Pattaya, Penang, Ipoh and Seoul. Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore will be Travelodge’s 11th hotel in Asia.
