PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has officially opened today. Pan Pacific Hotels Group debuts its sustainability-focused brand PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotels and Resorts in Malaysia making it the first launch outside Singapore. PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay and PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering in Singapore were introduced in 2021.
The 527-room (a reduction from the originally planned 535-room) hotel in the heart of Bukit Bintang is located in a mixed-use complex owned by UOL Group Limited, Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s parent company. The complex also houses Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur which is scheduled to open in the second half of 2022 with 210 luxury suites for long-stay guests.
Guests at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur can expect earthy tones and wooden finishes, synonymous with the PARKROYAL COLLECTION brand. The property’s architecture and interiors are the work of DP Architects and FDAT, the design practice behind PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore.
Other environmentally conscious features include sustainable bathroom amenities, biodegradable packaging, filtered drinking water solution in every guestroom and a food-waste management system.
The all-day-dining Thyme serves up authentic Asian and International cuisines that use sustainably sourced local seasonal ingredients. The Botanist Lounge & Bar is a modern lifestyle space while guests can chill by the Skye Chill pool bar.
A holistic wellness floor features St. Gregory spa, a modern gymnasium and fitness studio as well as an outdoor swimming pool.
“We are proud to grow our footprint of sustainable hospitality beyond Singapore. Our opening of PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur is timely as travellers are pursuing new experiences that can reconnect them with nature and rejuvenate their being.
