Vietjet’s inaugural direct flights between Singapore – Da Nang took off on 20 December 2019. The slightly under three-hour direct flight is operated daily departing Singapore at 10.50 am and arriving in Da Nang at 12.30 pm. The return flight departs at 12.20 pm and arrives in Singapore at 3.55 pm.
To date, Vietjet operates three direct routes between Singapore and Vietnam. It connects Singapore to Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang with four daily flights.
Other new flight routes operated by Vietjet include daily returning services linking Da Nang to Taipei and Hong Kong starting from 19 and 21 December 2019 respectively. vVetjet operates a total of 12 routes from Da Nang with domestic flights to Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Hai Phong, Can Tho and Nha Trang and international flights to Singapore, Tokyo Haneda, Seoul, Daegu, Bangkok, Taipei and Hong Kong.
The daily Da Nang – Taipei departs Da Nang at 10.50 am and arrives in Taipei at 2.30 pm. The return flight takes off from Taipei at 3.30 pm and lands in Da Nang at 5.30 pm. Flights between the two cities are around three hours.
The inaugural flights’ ceremonies were held in all destinations with the presence of Vietjet Vice President Do Xuan Quang to welcome first passengers arriving from Taipei and Singapore at Da Nang International Airport. Passengers on the debut flights were also presented with gifts by the flight crew.
