Singapore Airlines will operate its new Boeing 787-19 fleet between Singapore and Perth in May 2018, subject to regulatory approvals. The new Dreamliner aircraft will feature Singapore Airlines’ new regional cabin products with 36 seats in Business and 301 in Economy.
Prior to the launch of services to Perth, the 787-10s will be operated on selected flights to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur for crew training purposes, before the first scheduled service to Osaka in May 2018.
Singapore Airlines will be the first in the world to operate the 787-10 and has 49 firm orders for this aircraft type. It will take delivery of its first 787-10 from Boeing in March 2018. The airline also has a firm order with Boeing for 20 777-9s which are due for delivery from 2021/22 financial year.
