SilkAir will take over the five-times-weekly services to Yangon, Myanmar operated by Scoot from 29 October 2017. SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines and Scoot, Singapore Airlines Group’s low-cost subsidiary are sister airlines.
SilkAir currently operates 10 non-stop flights a week to Yangon and three services a week via Mandalay in Myanmar. After the transfer, SilkAir will boost its Yangon operations to 15 non-stop services a week. Singapore Airlines also operates daily flights to Yangon.
If you have already made bookings on Scoot’s Yangon services on or after 29 October 2017, you will be re-accommodated on SilkAir. You will get details of your new bookings by email. You can also opt to cancel your bookings and get a full refund of your tickets through Scoot.
Scoot will be commencing scheduled flights to Kuching from 29 October 2017, Honolulu on 19 December 2017, Kuantan on 2 February 2018. Seasonal flights to Harbin starts from 1 December 2017, and additional non-stop Singapore-Sapporo flights will start from 3 November 2017 in addition to the existing year-round Singapore – Taipei – Sapporo flights.
