The public has voted for the names of Qantas fleet of eight new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners that will fly routes including Perth to London and Melbourne to Los Angeles. The names of each of these aircraft will be revealed when they are delivered, with the first expected to arrive in October this year. Qantas received 60,000 name suggestions from landmarks to native animals, literature and Indigenous heritage. Some 45,000 votes were cast, and these eight were the most popular ones.

The final names, which will be painted beneath the cockpit window on each aircraft, are in no particular order:
- Great Barrier Reef
- Boomerang
- Skippy
- Waltzing Maltida
- Uluru
- Great Southern Land
- Quokka
- Dreamtime
