More Luxury, Less Waiting: Hong Kong Airlines’ New Global Lounge Partnership

Hong Kong Airlines is raising the bar for premium travel with a new partnership signed with Plaza Premium Group. The two brands will work together to enhance the airport journey for business class and frequent flyer passengers, offering seamless access to Plaza Premium Lounges around the world.

The partnership was formalised in Hong Kong on 31 March 2025 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). It’s a strategic move that lets the airline tap into Plaza Premium Group’s extensive lounge network—covering over 150 countries—and offer guests a more luxurious travel experience, no matter the destination.

For travellers, this means more than just a comfy seat before a flight. Passengers can expect smoother access to lounges globally, as Hong Kong Airlines continues to expand its long-haul routes in Australia, Canada, and beyond.

What makes this collaboration especially valuable is the planned integration of loyalty programmes. Members of Fortune Wings Club, Hong Kong Airlines’ frequent flyer programme, will soon be able to earn and redeem points across Plaza Premium Group’s Smart Traveller platform. Think e-vouchers, limited-time offers, and exclusive airport perks—all tied into one ecosystem.

Joint marketing campaigns and social impact initiatives are in the works, giving both brands a chance to showcase their commitment to innovation and responsible travel.

With this move, Hong Kong Airlines strengthens its global reach and offers a taste of premium hospitality to loyal customers. For Plaza Premium Group, it’s yet another step in making airports more welcoming, one lounge at a time.
