Lufthansa’s Singapore – Munich non-stop flights will take off 28 March 2018. The five times weekly flight will be operated on its Airbus A350-900 aircraft. For its launch, the Star Alliance member airline is offering all-in fares to Munich from S$791 if you purchase by 5 December 2017 for travel between 28 March and 31 October 2018. This means you don’t have to transit through Frankfurt to get to Munich anymore.
LH791 will depart Singapore at 10.55 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday and arrives at Munich Franz Josef Strauss airport at 5.25 am the next day. The return flight, LH790 will depart Munich at 10 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and arrive at Changi Airport at 4.05 pm the next day.
Lufthansa’s A350-900 aircraft has 8 rows of Business Class seats in a 2-2-2 configuration, 3 rows of Premium Economy in a 2-3-2 configuration, and an Economy Class cabin with a 3-3-3 configuration and bulkhead seats on rows 16 and 27 with a configuration of 2-3-2.
The 48 Seats in Business Class have a pitch of 64″ and width of 20″. The 21 seats in Premium Economy have a pitch of 38″ and width of 18″. The 224 Economy Class seats have a pitch of 31″ and width of 18″.
Lufthansa charges for pre-selection of seats in Economy Class – S$47.50 and S$156.10 for bulkhead and seats with additional legroom. Lufthansa’s loyalty programme HON Circle Members and Senators can pre-select Economy Class seats for free.
The addition of Lufthansa’s Singapore – Munich flights gives travellers another option besides Singapore Airlines’ daily 13 hour 5 minute non-stop A350-900 flights SQ328 which depart Singapore Changi Airport at 12.25am from Terminal 3 and arrives at Munich at 6.30am in the morning. The return flight SQ327 departs Munich at 12.20pm and arrives at Changi Airport at 7 am.
