Jetstar Celebrates 3rd birthday of boy who was born on a Jetstar flight

Saw Jet Star was born onboard Jetstar Asia flight 3K583 on 22 April 2016. Fortunate for Jet Star’s mother, three doctors were on board to help on board the flight bound for Yangon Myanmar.

Three years later, Jetstar Asia visited the child to help him celebrate his third birthday with the children in his village. The Jetstar team contributed personal cash donations, toys, clothes, books, stationery and basic necessities to Jet Star and his family.

Customer Service Manager Mr Saw Ler Htu, who also assisted in the delivery three years ago, travelled eight hours by bus and boat to visit the boy.
