Hotel Indigo Karuizawa has opened on 17 January 2022. It is the region’s globally-branded lifestyle boutique hotel and the second Hotel Indigo brand property in Japan. It is just 2.6km from Karuiazawa station.

This 155-room hotel sits across three design buildings. It is inspired by the town’s sophisticated sensibility and abundance of nature. It captures the spirit of its neighbourhood through its design, amenities, restaurants and bars, and service style, where East meets West. A check at IHG.com reveals three 32 sqm Single and Double bedroom types – Standard Garden View, Standard River View and Standard Private Garden. The Standard Garden View and Standard River rooms have a private balcony while the Standard Private Garden comes with access to a private garden. There is also a 64sqm suite category which features jetted open-air bath in a private garden as well as a separate living room.
F&B outlets in the hotel include a wood-fired Italian Restaurant KAGARIBI, an all-day dining restaurant that serves dishes that incorporates local ingredients and take inspiration from the flavours, textures and nuances from the surroundings. The Spa by HARNN offers three treatment rooms and fitness facilities. There are also meeting facilities for business events.
