Singapore Airlines first B787-10 to Serve Osaka

Singapore Airlines’ new Boeing 787-10 will be operated on the Singapore – Osaka route in May 2018. It will be the first airline in the world to operate the 787-10 which measure 68 metres in length. The 787-10 is Boeing’s longest variant of the Dreamliner range of aircraft. SIA has 49 787-10s and 20 777-9s on firm order which are due for delivery from 2012/22 financial year. The first 787-10  is due for delivery from Boeing’s North Charleston, South Carolina production facility in March 2018.

Aviation enthusiasts can fly on Singapore Airline’s new 787-10s on selected Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur flights when it is deployed for crew training purposes prior to flying to Osaka. The 787-10s will be fitted with the new regional cabin products with 36 seats in Business Class and 301 seats in Economy Class.
