Scoot Tigerair Pte Ltd has selected Worldpay as its exclusive payments provider. The low-cost airline, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines Limited has sought a strategic payments provider that could help grow its international and long-haul business as a new integrated brand in key global markets such as Asia Pacific and EMEA.
Worldpay offers an end-to-end payments solution for Scoot’s customers and ultimately sell more online tickets to travellers. Scoot has seen payment acceptance rates soar to 90% across markets after partnering Worldpay. Worldpay allows customer to pay by Alipay and China Union Pay in China, Konbini in Japan and POLi Payments and PayPal in Australia.
Scoot can now optimise eCommerce business with new insights from Worldpay and hence increase online sales, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
