Air Premia, South Korea’s only long-haul airline launched in July 2022 that offers premium services comparable to full service carriers at reasonable prices, has launched four times weekly San Francisco – Incheon flights on 17 May 2024. This is Air Premia’s third direct connection between the continental United States and Korea. Its other two cities include Los Angeles and New York.
Air Premia CEO Yoo Myung-sub and other guests attended the inauguration ceremony for the San Francisco – Incheon Route at San Francisco International Airport on 17 May 2024 at 1.30pm local time. He shared that “The Americas are Air Premia’s most important strategic route. There are plans to offer more routes and flights, offering diverse options for Korean immigrants and local travellers heading to Korea.”
Scheduled flights depart San Francisco on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 3pm local time and arrives at Incheon International Airport at 7.50pm the next day. The return flights depart from Incheon International Airport at 5.30pm local time and lands at San Francisco Airport at 12.30pm.
Air Premia has increased in Los Angeles flights to a daily scheduled. Irregular flights to Honolulu were also introuced, further expanding its American network. The increase in flights is expected to significantly enhance cargo operations through the aircraft’s belly hold. Nearly 60% of last year’s cargo revenue were generated from operations in the Americas.
