Culinary offerings onboard will include new concepts by Chef Emeril Lagasse, alongside favourite Carnival dining spots.

Carnival Tropicale and Project Ace

Carnival Cruise Line announced its fifth Excel-class ship will be named Carnival Tropicale, continuing the tradition of honouring the line’s original vessels. Scheduled to debut in spring 2028, Carnival Tropicale will feature many of the exciting elements found on Carnival Festivale, alongside unique new concepts and themes, with homeport details revealed later. Additionally, Carnival is developing three new mega-ships under “Project Ace,” each with over 3,000 staterooms, accommodating nearly 8,000 guests. These ships, set to launch in 2029, 2031, and 2033, will be the largest in Carnival Corporation’s global fleet, redefining the cruising experience for travellers worldwide.
